Spain's La Liga out to a grand start!

Spain's La liga started yesterday with great fanfare with no other than Usain Bolt giving the first kick at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Madrid. And then, the Galacticos took over the show: Real's 240 Million Euros worth of new sign-ups had some of the brightest stars the sport has: Cristiano Ronaldo, who transfered from Manchester United, Kaka arriving from AC Milan and Xavi Alonso from Liverpool.
No doubt they spent a nice chunk of money, but at the end of the day, the 'locals' Raul and Lass where the ones stealing the show and putting the numbers on the score. On the other side was a modest but tough Deportivo A Coruna team that didn't make things easy to the Galacticos, in fact they where close to turn things around on a failed shoot by 'El Mago' Valeron to a masterful service by Guardado. The match ended 3 - 2 with really little to show for the most expensive team on earth right now.
